Job Description

The academic intervention support teacher position involves UPK-5 reading development, designed to provide a systematic school-wide approach to literacy instruction. The goal of this position is to assure high-level literacy achievement for every child throughout the district. This will best be accomplished by a well-defined problem-solving process grounded in data analysis and professional learning communities. 

Job Qualifications

• Current elementary teaching license, reading 1-6
• Exemplary literacy background 
• Demonstrated leadership skills in professional practice
• Demonstrated skills in listening, communicating and collaboration
• Life-long learner with knowledge of current best practices that improve student learning
