Job Description

•Self-contained classroom, 12:1+(3:1)
•Develop lesson plans and assignments.
•Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student.
•Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with iverse needs.
•Compassionate and patient approach to working with students.
•Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
•Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
•Effective classroom management and behavior intervention skills.

Job Qualifications

•NYS Fingerprint Full Clearance
•Certification in Special Education Grades 1-6 (or related certification)
