• 1 year contract
• Self-contained classroom, 12:1+(3:1)
• Develop lesson plans and assignments.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student.
• Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
• Compassionate and patient approach to working with students.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
• Effective classroom management and behavior intervention skills.

• Assist one particular pupil during daily learning activities.
• Assists in monitoring the pupil in the classroom and other areas of the building.
• Works with pupil in activities under the supervision of a teacher.
• Assists in the physical needs of the pupil.
• Assists staff in management of the school cafeteria or as otherwise needed.
• Assists in the computer laboratories and school library as needed.
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned by the administration.
• Assignment may include diaper changing.
